FIVB x JVA x JADA “PLAY CLEAN” Partnership Programme on 16 & 30 May 2016
The Japan Anti-Doping Agency (JADA) in
partnership with the Federation Internationale De Volleyball (FIVB) and the
Japan Volleyball Association (JVA) has conducted the successful “PLAY CLEAN”
Partnership Programme at the Volleyball World Olympic Qualification Tournament
in Tokyo on 16th and 30th May 2016.
Following the success of the partnered
activity in Tokyo last year, this is the second time to collaborate among JADA,
FIVB and JVA. The programme is designed to raise the athletes’ awareness on
Anti-Doping as well as to express their commitment to clean sport.
At the official hotel, the participating athletes
and support personnel played “Play Anti-Doping Quiz” created by World
Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), and wrote their PLAY TRUE message on the sign flag.
As a new
activity, the messages for “PLAY CLEAN” from the athletes themselves were
filmed and the short clip is made available through the FIVB official web site (http://www.fivb.com/en/about/newsheadlines/outreach-programme-continues-to-educate-athletes-and?id=61637).
Furthermore, “JADA Education Manga Movie” was
shown to encourage athletes and spectators to think of the value of sport at
the competition venue.
In the lead up to 2020, further partnership between FIVB x JVA x JADA will be continued.
We will expand PLAY TRUE movement and foster Real Champion across the world through
the partnership!
